Meet Daniel Bowden
I’m Daniel Bowden, and I’ve been working in tarmacadam surfacing since 2003. After decades on the tools, I started Black Mountain Tarmacadam Driveways Ltd in 2021 to deliver the kind of tidy, reliable workmanship I’m proud to put my name to. We’re a local, hands-on team based in Ammanford and working right across South Wales.

- Site visit & quote – we assess access, levels, and drainage, then provide a clear written quote.
- Preparation – excavation of the existing surface, installation of kerbs/edging, and drainage checks.
- Base – a compacted base layer for strength and longevity.
- Surfacing – hot tarmacadam laid evenly and compacted with our own rollers for a smooth, long-lasting finish.
- Tidy up & handover – we leave everything neat and provide simple aftercare guidance.
Aftercare: Keep vehicles off the surface for 3 days. A light annual seal coat helps it stay in top condition for the long term.
